PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF PP PACKING BELT:

PP POLYPROPYLENE STRAPPING

PP strapping,also known as polypropylene strapping—is manufactured through a complex series of processes involving heating, extrusion, stretching, and cooling. Its raw material, polypropylene (PP), is a high-performance thermoplastic synthetic resin; this composition endows PP strapping with numerous outstanding attributes, including the advantages of being lightweight, flexible, and possessing high tensile strength.

PP STRAPPING BELT CHARACTERISTICS
  • Light weight --------- PP (polypropylene) has a low density, and the strapping belt is light in weight, but has high tensile strength, can withstand greater strapping force, and is suitable for bundling heavier goods.
  • Corrosion resistance -------- It has good resistance to acids, alkalis, salts and most chemical solvents, and is suitable for humid or corrosive environments (such as seafood and chemical product transportation).
  • Abrasion resistance ---------The surface is smooth but wear-resistant, and it is not easy to break due to friction after bundling, which is suitable for long-distance transportation.
  • Good flexibility -------- It has a certain elasticity, which can buffer the vibration or impact of the goods and prevent the strapping from breaking due to over-tightening.
  • Waterproof and moisture-proof ---------It does not absorb water, has stable performance in a humid environment, and will not be deformed by moisture like paper strapping materials.
  • Insulation--------- It is non-conductive, suitable for occasions that require insulation such as electronic equipment.
  • Environmental protection------ It can be recycled, and some PP strapping belts are degradable, which meets environmental protection requirements.
  • Temperature adaptability--------- Generally applicable temperature range -10℃ to 80℃, high temperature may soften, low temperature becomes brittle, need to choose according to the environment.
