PP Strapping Production Line – No Breaking
Product Overview
This production line produces PP strapping with extremely high tensile strength and breakage resistance, fundamentally eliminating the problem of strap breakage during strapping. The equipment features a φ120mm 38CrMoAlA alloy steel screw with a 30:1 L/D ratio, paired with a 55KW high-efficiency main motor, achieving a maximum output of 220-240 kg/h.
Through a multi-stage stretching process with an adjustable draw ratio of 1.5-12 times, PP molecular chains become highly oriented along the stretching direction, increasing longitudinal tensile strength several times over its unoriented state. The extruder's 9-zone independent temperature control (±1°C accuracy) ensures uniform melt plasticization, eliminating stress concentration points.
The finished strapping's breaking strength far exceeds industry standards, suitable for heavy-duty packaging and fully automatic high-speed strapping machines - end users no longer complain about breakage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What causes strapping breakage?
Breakage typically stems from three causes: incomplete plasticization creating stress concentration points; insufficient molecular orientation leading to low tensile strength; and excessive internal stress causing brittle fracture. This line solves all three through precision temperature control, high draw ratio, and multi-stage heat setting.
What breaking strength can be achieved?
For standard 12mm*0.6mm strapping at 8-10x draw ratio, breaking force exceeds 200kg. Higher draw ratios (10-12x) further increase strength, balancing with flexibility requirements.
What does breakage-free mean for automatic strapping machines?
Automatic strapping machines run continuously at high speed. A single break can stop the entire packaging line, causing minutes or more of production interruption. Breakage-free means continuous operation, unaffected packaging efficiency, and zero customer complaints.
