Product Overview

The ASUS RS720A-E13-RS8U is a high-performance 2U dual-socket rack server built with 3nm Zen5/5c architecture AMD EPYC 9005 Series processors. Delivering up to 192 cores, 384 threads and 5GHz boost clocks, it features high compute density and excellent compatibility, perfectly suited for AI/ML training, high-performance computing, big data analytics and enterprise virtualization workloads in modern data centers.

Key Features

Adopting the flexible DC-MHS modular architecture, the server supports 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots with a maximum 3TB capacity and 6000MHz frequency. It provides 8 PCIe 5.0 expansion slots and 2 OCP 3.0 sockets for high-bandwidth transmission. Equipped with 8 tool-less hot-swap 2.5-inch NVMe/SATA/SAS drive bays and 2 internal M.2 slots, it supports up to three 400W dual-slot GPUs for powerful AI acceleration.
Featuring advanced independent air cooling channels, the 2U chassis stably supports 500W high-TDP processors without liquid cooling. It adopts 1+1 redundant 80 PLUS Titanium 2700W/3200W power supplies for high energy efficiency and reliability. Tool-less structural design simplifies daily maintenance. Integrated PFR FPGA root-of-trust and TPM 2.0 ensure hardware-level security, while ASMB12-iKVM BMC enables comprehensive remote management via IPMI and Redfish API.
