Product Introduction: Australian Standard Compliant Structural Steel Fabrication
We specialize in the end-to-end manufacturing of high-quality structural steel components, fully compliant with stringent Australian Standards. Our process ensures exceptional strength, durability, and safety for construction, mining, infrastructure, and industrial projects across Australia and beyond.
1 . Raw Materials (Compliant with AS/NZS 3678, AS/NZS 3679.1, & AS 1163-2016) Our commitment to quality begins with sourcing. We exclusively use premium-grade steel from certified Australian and international mills.
- Structural Sections (Beams, Channels, Angles): Conform to AS/NZS 3678 for hot-rolled structural steel plates and sections (Grades 250, 300, 350).

- Steel Plate: Sourced to meet AS/NZS 3679.1 for structural steel plates (Grades 250, 300, 350, 400) with guaranteed mechanical properties.

- Hollow Sections (RHS, SHS, CHS): Comply with relevant specifications for welded or seamless sections.

- Traceability: All materials are supplied with full Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) ensuring traceability of chemical composition and mechanical properties to the relevant Australian Standard.
2. Steel Fabrication (Compliant with AS 4100 & AS/NZS 5131) Our state-of-the-art workshop employs advanced technology and skilled tradespeople certified to Australian welding standards (AS/NZS 2980).

- Detailed Design & Drawings: We work from engineer-approved drawings, ensuring all fabrication adheres to the design requirements of AS 4100 (Steel Structures).
- Precision Cutting: Utilising CNC plasma, oxy-fuel, and laser cutting systems for accurate and clean component preparation.
- Forming & Bending: Capabilities include press braking, rolling, and profiling to meet specified shapes and dimensions.
- Welding: All welding is performed by qualified welders following Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) qualified to AS/NZS ISO 3834 and AS/NZS 1554.1. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic testing (UT) or magnetic particle inspection (MPI) is conducted as specified.

- Quality Assurance: Fabrication strictly follows the principles of AS/NZS 5131 "Structural steelwork - Fabrication and erection," covering dimensional tolerances, fit-up, and workmanship.
3. Hot Dip Galvanizing (Compliant with AS/NZS 4680) For superior corrosion protection, we partner with or operate facilities certified to the Australian standard for hot-dip galvanizing.
- Process: Fabricated steel is meticulously cleaned (degreased, pickled, fluxed) before immersion in a molten zinc bath (typically to AS/NZS 4680, minimum coating grade 500 g/m² for >3mm thick steel, or as specified).
- Quality & Inspection: The galvanizing process provides a metallurgically bonded zinc coating. Coating thickness and appearance are inspected to ensure compliance with AS/NZS 4680, guaranteeing decades of protection in harsh Australian environments.
- Venting & Drifting: Our fabrication design includes necessary vent and drain holes to ensure complete galvanizing of hollow sections and complex fabrications.
4. Packing & Dispatch We ensure products arrive on site in perfect condition, ready for installation.
- Protective Packaging: Galvanized components are carefully packed with protective separators (timber dunnage, plastic spacers) to prevent coating damage and transit corrosion.
- Weather Protection: Where required, items are wrapped in protective film or tarpaulins for sea or road freight.
- Secure Bundling: Components are tightly bundled and strapped using steel or polyester strapping to steel transport frames or skids for stability.
- Clear Identification: Each bundle or major item is clearly tagged with unique identification numbers, corresponding to packing lists and fabrication drawings for easy site handling and verification.
Our Commitment: By integrating these controlled stages—from certified raw materials, precision fabrication under Australian Standards, accredited hot-dip galvanizing, to secure packing—we deliver structural steel products of the highest reliability, corrosion resistance, and fitness for purpose. Our product is the trusted choice for engineers, builders, and project managers who will not compromise on quality, safety, or longevity.
Ideal for: Portal frames, trusses, beams, columns, handrails, staircases, access platforms, mining structures, and custom fabrications for all sectors.
