Galvanized Steel Sheet Steel Q195 Q215 ms Plates Cold Steel Plates Iron Sheet
Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI) is produced by passing the Full Hard sheet which has
undergone the acid washing process and rolling process through the zinc pot, thereby applying zinc
film to the surface. It has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to Zinc’s
characteristics. Usually, hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel coil process and
specifications are basically the same.
Hot-dip galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to a steel sheet or iron sheet,
to prevent rusting.
* Excellent anti-corrosion, paintability, and processability due to the self-sacrificing characteristic of zinc.
* Available to select and produce the desired amount of zinc gilded and in particular enables thick zinc
layers(maximum 120g/m2).
* Classified as either zero spangle or extra smooth depending on whether the sheet undergoes skin
pass treatment.

FAQ:
What is Galvanised sheets used for?
Galvanized steel sheet is one of the most used sheets for the roofs in homes, industries, and commercial premises.
The roofs are made up of mild steel coated with zinc. Galvanized steel roofing sheet usually comes in different form of
long run roofing such as trapezoidal, trough section / concealed fix, and corrugated.
What is galvanization sheet?
Galvanizing is a zinc coating applied to sheets of steel through a process called “continuous hot-dip,” in which steel
sheet passes through a bath of molten zinc. The liquid zinc bonds to the iron in the steel forming a protective layer on
both sides of the sheet.
Which is better aluminum or galvanized steel?
Galvanized steel is much stronger than aluminum. Steel is more popular for projects that need more strength and durab
-ility. This strength isn't ideal for all consumers and tasks as it's a heavier much denser quality than aluminum.
How do you cut galvanized steel sheets?
Start by clamping the sheet of the galvanized steel securely by using a bench vice with guidelines facing upwards. Take a circular saw that is fitted with a 7 ¼ inch fiber blade to cut the galvanized sheet, still following the guidelines. Go over any edges that aren't clean-cut to smooth them down with a steel reamer.
