Product Overview

AISI 1020 Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Sheet Plate 8mm 10mm 20# S20C

S20C is slightly stronger than No. 15 steel, seldom quenched, and has no temper brittleness. Cold deformation plasticity is high, generally for bending, calendering, bending and hammer arch processing. Arc welding and contact welding performance is good, while gas welding with small thickness and strict shape requirements may cause cracks in complex shaped parts. Machinability in cold drawing or normalizing state is better than in annealing state. S20C is used to manufacture parts with little force and high toughness requirements.
