S235JR Q235 Surface Classification

1. Ordinary grade surface (FA)
Pickling surface surface is allowed to have a depth (or height) not more than half of the tolerance of the thickness of the steel plate pitting, concave, scratches and other minor, local defects, but should ensure that the steel plate and steel belt to allow the minimum thickness.
2. Higher Surface (FB)
Pickling surface is allowed to have local defects that do not affect the formability, such as slight scratches, slight indentation, slight pitting, slight roller printing and color difference.
