Definition:

A Medical Grade Stainless Steel 304 Capillary Tube is a thin-walled, hollow cylindrical structure made from austenitic stainless steel grade 304. Designed for medical applications, these capillary tubes are precision-engineered to meet stringent biocompatibility, dimensional accuracy, and corrosion resistance standards. They serve as raw material for manufacturing hypodermic needles, biopsy tools, catheters, and other minimally invasive surgical instruments. Stainless Steel 304 (AISI304 / SUS304) is a chromium-nickel alloy (18% Cr, 8% Ni) known for its excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and cost-effectiveness. While SS316L is often preferred for implantable devices, SS304 is widely used in disposable and reusable medical tools where extreme corrosion resistance is not critical.
