Brief Introduction

ASTM B283 Copper Alloy C70620 (UNS C70620) is a high-performance copper-nickel alloy forging, strictly compliant with ASTM B283 / ASME SB283 standard. It is a 90% copper-10% nickel alloy (commonly known as cupronickel) with added iron elements, featuring excellent corrosion resistance (especially to seawater and chloride ions), good weldability, thermal conductivity and mechanical strength. As a hot-pressed die forging product, it is specially designed for welded applications exposed to seawater, with outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and can inhibit marine biological adhesion. Widely used in marine engineering, chemical, valve and pump industries, it is a reliable structural component for harsh corrosive environments, ensuring stable and long-term service.
