European Standards EN 10222-5 1.4571 (ASTM A182) 316 Ti Forged Ring & Flange
EN 10222-5 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) forged rings and flanges refer to forgings made from titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel 1.4571, manufactured in accordance with European standard EN 10222-5, Part 5.
This material is known for its excellent corrosion resistance (especially superior to standard 316 stainless steel in acidic or chloride-containing environments) and resistance to high-temperature sensitization.
Rings and flanges formed through forging processes (such as ring rolling or die forging) exhibit a dense internal structure, excellent mechanical properties (such as high strength and toughness), and good machinability. They are suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, or highly corrosive applications and are commonly found in critical pressure systems in the chemical, oil and gas, energy, and offshore industries.
