Production process of stainless steel
1. Smelting process of crude stainless steel The smelting process of stainless steel in the world today is mainly divided into one-step method, two-step method and three-step method, as well as new integrated production methods.
One-step smelting: molten iron + AOD (hydrogen smelting furnace);
two-step smelting: EAF (electric arc furnace) + AOD (hydrogen smelting furnace);
three-step smelting: EAF (electric arc furnace) + AOD (hydrogen refining furnace) + VOD (Vacuum Refining Furnace);
