Aluminum-zinc coated bow-shaped gaskets for mechanical fastening of TPO waterproof membranes

Product Introduction

This is a special metal fixing gasket for TPO/PVC polymer waterproofing membranes, also commonly known as ingot-shaped gaskets, S/C-type waterproof pressing sheets and mechanically fixed gaskets, mostly made of aluminum-zinc coated or hot-dip galvanized steel sheet.

1.Integrated stamping forming

•Integrated deep recess structure of the mould with a countersunk hole in the middle. After screw installation, the surface of the gasket fits closely and flat against the base surface without edge warping or gaps. Compatible with hot air gun fusion welding, enabling tight fusion between coiled material and gasket to prevent water seepage.

2.Substrate made of aluminum-zinc coated steel features far superior corrosion resistance compared with ordinary galvanized gaskets

•It adopts heavy-gauge aluminum-zinc coated steel sheet with a snowflake passivation surface layer. Resistant to corrosion from acid rain and roof condensate water, the material is unlikely to rust through after long-term outdoor roof exposure. It adapts to complex outdoor construction conditions such as humid climates in southern China and large day-night temperature swings in northern China, extending the service life of roof waterproofing systems..

3.The ingot-shaped oval design delivers superior pull-out resistance and wind pressure resistance.

•Compared with conventional circular gaskets, the elongated oval structure increases the bearing area by 60%, disperses the tightening pressure of self-tapping screws, prevents rock wool/thermal insulation boards from collapsing or perforating during fixing, complies with national construction specifications for wind uplift resistance of roofing, and is the preferred choice for large factory roof projects.

4.Universal for all scenarios with one-stop matching screws

•It can be matched with carbon steel anti-corrosion self-tapping screws and stainless steel self-drilling screws, applicable to four scenarios including TPO waterproof membrane roofing, waterproof renovation of old color steel buildings, fixing of exterior wall rock wool thermal insulation, and reinforcement of cold storage thermal insulation layers.
