Introduction

Stainless steel balls are usually produced through a forging process. At present, commonly used stainless steel balls are made of 201, 302, 304, 316, 316L, 420 and 440C.

Definition: Steel with a chromium content of more than 12% and resistance to chemical substances.
Principle: Stainless steel does not rust, but it is not easy to rust.

304HC is a kind of cold-bonded wire, which is a relatively good stainless steel wire. Dedicated to manufacturing screws, rivets, nuts and other products. This series of products are pure in quality, easy to shape, and have good corrosion resistance (it can pass the salt spray test for more than 48 hours, and after passivation, it can reach more than 500 hours). If it is a material from a large domestic steel plant, it can pass all the EU Environmental requirements.

The relationship between the main chemical composition and the performance of stainless steel.

1. Carbon can increase hardness and strength, high content will reduce its ductility and corrosion resistance

2. Chromium can increase corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, refine the grain, increase strength, hardness and wear resistance.

3. Nickel can increase high temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and reduce the rate of cold work hardening

4. Molybdenum increases strength and has excellent corrosion resistance to oxides and seawater

5. Copper is good for cold forming and reduces magnetic properties

6. Mn is mainly used to reduce the magnetic properties of the material, but the content should not be too high.

Stainless steel ball 201

Application: 201 stainless steel balls are used in the hardware industry, handicrafts, and plastic products, such as lamps, switches, motorcycle accessories, luggage, bearings, and die-casting parts.

Features: It is a kind of nickel-saving steel, austenitic steel, non-magnetic, low price and excellent performance. Can be processed, welded, drilled, hardness ≤28. (201 stainless steel balls cannot be used in industries with high requirements for rust and corrosion protection)
