This modern cattle shed is constructed using a robust and durable steel structural system, specifically designed for large-scale, efficient dairy or beef cattle farming. The main framework consists of high-strength hot-dip galvanized I-beams or H-shaped steel columns and steel beams, precisely connected with high-strength bolts to form a stable spatial frame structure, offering exceptional load-bearing capacity and resistance to wind and snow loads.
The roof typically features a large-span lightweight portal frame design, covered with corrugated color-coated steel sheets (single-layer or insulated sandwich panels). This not only effectively shields against rain, wind, and intense sunlight but also ensures smooth drainage of rain and snow through its slope design. The perimeter enclosures of the shed are also made of color-coated steel sheets or open structures. Certain areas (such as the upper sections of side walls) can be flexibly equipped with roll-up windows or louvered windows to provide ample natural ventilation and light regulation within the shed.
The internal layout of the cattle shed is scientifically designed. The floor is typically made of hardened concrete with anti-slip grooves, and features clearly defined pathways, comfortable resting areas for cattle, centralized feeding troughs, and convenient watering points. The spacious, high-ceilinged space and optimized ventilation design ensure effective air circulation, reduce the accumulation of harmful gases such as ammonia, and significantly enhance the comfort and health of the cattle herd.
