This valve allows excess gas (which coffee still produces for some time after roasting) to escape, while at the same time oxygen cannot enter the coffee pouch. 4. The bag is strong and the top of the tear can be re-sealed with a sealing machine. Easy tear notch is widely used for coffee bags with normal press zipper.
