420 stainless steel is a martensitic stainless steel with the following characteristics:

• High hardness and wear resistance: Due to its high carbon content (0.15-0.40%), high hardness and wear resistance can be obtained after heat treatment.
• Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance in the general environment, but poor performance in strong corrosive environments (such as seawater or acidic media).
• Processing performance: hardness and strength can be adjusted by heat treatment, but cold processing performance is poor.
• Polishing performance: Smooth surface after polishing, suitable for decorative use.
