P91 Alloy Pipes with 14 to 720mm Outer Diameter and Bevel Surface
Product Overview
X10CrMoVNb9-1 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes for High-temperature Service T91/P91
Material Definition
Grade T/P91 is a ferritic-martensitic steel containing 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum, micro-alloyed with vanadium and niobium with controlled nitrogen content. This material conforms to ASTM A 335, A 213, and EN 10216-2 standards under the designation X10CrMoVNb9-1.
Primary Applications
On fossil-fueled power plants, this grade is primarily used for high-temperature applications including superheater and reheater tubes, headers, and steam piping (main steam and hot reheat systems).
Performance Advantages
- Excellent elevated-temperature strength and creep behavior up to 580°C - 600°C
- 9% chromium content provides superior corrosion and oxidation resistance compared to grade 22
- Reduced weight of boiler and piping components due to superior performance
- Higher resistance to thermal fatigue
- Superior heat transfer and lower thermal expansion coefficients compared to austenitic steels
Available Specifications
Standard wall thickness designations: STD, 40, XH, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, XXH
Special customer designated nominal and minimum wall thicknesses available. Non-standard OD & ID dimensions can be furnished.
Best Pipeline offers pipes from turned and bored forgings in accordance with Specifications A/SA369 when client requirements for size, wall thickness, quantity, or delivery cannot be met by material available under Specifications A/SA335.
