S34700 Stainless Steel Metal Plate 347H Stainless Steel Plate
Alloy 347 (S34700) is a stabilized stainless steel plate offering excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800 to 1500°F (427 to 816°C). This alloy is stabilized by the addition of columbium and tantalum, making it particularly advantageous for high-temperature service due to its superior mechanical properties.
Alloy 347 stainless steel plate provides higher creep and stress rupture properties compared to Alloy 304 and Alloy 304L, making it an ideal choice for applications where sensitization and intergranular corrosion are significant concerns.
