A312 TP347 Stainless Steel Pipe
SS 347/347H High Temperature Austenitic Stainless Steel Pipe with UNS S34700 DIN 1.4550 for Boiler Tube Applications
A312 TP347 material is stabilized against chromium carbide formation by the addition of columbium and tantalum. 347 Stainless Steel Pipe is a non-magnetic alloy that offers higher creep and stress rupture properties than SS 304. This material performs better in strongly oxidizing environments up to 1500°F (816°C) and is suitable for use in nitric solutions, most diluted organic acids at moderate temperatures, and in pure phosphoric acid at lower temperatures and up to 10% diluted solutions at elevated temperatures.

Applications
SS 347 tubes are widely used in offshore drilling oil and gas industries, petrochemical industries, construction, gas processing, food processing equipment, recuperators, petroleum refining, power generation, pharmaceutical equipment, chemical equipment, pulp and paper industries, condensers, heat exchangers, and seawater equipment.
SS 347 demonstrates excellent general corrosion resistance and performs exceptionally well in strong oxidizing circumstances. The material is highly ductile and forms without difficulty, while also being easily weldable using most standard processes.
