Tesco Alloy C-22 (HASTELLOY C-22) Seamless Pipedin15 (O. D21.3mm) X 2.1mmt X 2, 000mml

Description:
Alloy C22 is an improved alloy for use in a range of aggressive industrial environments. Alloy C22 has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in oxidizing and acid chloride environments, and is practically immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Alloy C22 has superior weldability, and alloy C22 weld fillers are used to join other corrosion resistant alloys such as Alloy C-276 and AL-6XN® alloy.
Alloy 22 is nickel-base and typically contains 22% chromium, 14% molybdenum, and 3% tungsten. Iron is normally limited to less than 3%. The alloy's high content of chromium gives it good resistance to wet corrosion by oxidizing media (e.g., nitric acid and ferric and cupric salts). Its contents of molybdenum and tungsten give the alloy resistance to wet reducing media (e.g., sulfuric and hydrochloric acids). Alloy 22 exhibits excellent resistance to corrosive attack by seawater under stagnant and flowing conditions.
Advantages:

2. Outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking
3. Excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous environments (wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid and chloride ions)
