Chemical Composition

The chemical composition of 304L seamless pipes mainly consists of low carbon (C) content, generally not exceeding 0.03%, chromium (Cr) content of about 18%, nickel (Ni) content of 8% -12%, and small amounts of silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other elements.

Mechanical Property

Tensile strength σ b ≥ 450MPa, elongation δ 5 ≥ 40%.

Characteristic

- Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of various media such as atmosphere, water, acid, alkali, salt, etc. It is suitable for general corrosive environments.
- Welding performance: Low carbon content, better welding performance than 304 stainless steel, less prone to intergranular corrosion and other problems after welding, and high weld quality.
- Processing performance: It is easy to perform cold and hot processing, such as bending, stretching, stamping, etc., and can be made into products of various shapes and sizes to meet different application needs.
