Description

AMS 5661 Turbine Blade Steel UNS N09901 Solid Square Bar

Production Information

Alloy 901 is an age-hardenable super alloy which contains Titanium and Aluminium for precipitation hardening and molybdenum for soild-solution strengthening. Alloy 901 has high yield strength and creep at temperatures around 1110°F (600°C). Alloy 901 is able to combine strength with good forging characteristics due to its high iron content. Alloy 901 is commonly used in gas turbine engine discs, shafts, rings, bushings and seals.

Size Range

Round bar / Wire rod (Diameter): 3.0mm to 900mm
Square bar / Flat bar: 5.0mm to 1100mm
Forging piece:

Stepped shafts with flanks / discs /tubes
/slugs /donuts /cubes /other different shapes based on OEM.
Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T6 - 100mm X W10 - 1300mm X L1000-10000mm

Sheet steel via cold rolled:

T0.5 - 5.5mm X W6 - 1000mm X L1000 - 11000mm

Steel strip via cold rolled:

T0.1 - 5.0mm X W5 - 150mm X L (or in coil form)
