Description
High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer for Battery Materials
Spray drying is the most widely used industrial process for liquid forming and drying applications. This method is ideal for producing powder and granular solid products from various liquid raw materials including solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pastes. The process ensures precise control over particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape of finished products.
Working Principle
The system operates by filtering and heating air that enters through the air distributor at the top of the dryer. Feed liquid is processed through a high-speed centrifugal atomizer located at the top of the tower body, where it rotates and sprays into extremely fine mist-like liquid beads. These droplets contact parallel hot air flow and are dried into finished products within seconds. The finished product continuously outputs from the bottom of the drying tower and cyclone separator, while exhaust gas is discharged by the fan system.
