The eGates are made of stainless steel and are durable and reliable.
The channels provide very efficient passenger clearance, an average of about 10 to 12 seconds per passenger with liveness detection device of fingerprints as well as proven tail-gating detection device.
The channels are simple and secure. Processing time is efficient. Entry to the restricted area will take only one to two seconds while the processing time inside the ABC channel will only be five seconds depending on the quality of the fingerprint of the passenger.
For the tailgating device, DOOR has come up with a special device ensuring no two persons can pass through the channel at the same time.
Ideal for office buildings, government facilities, banks, airports, hotels, campuses, and highend residential areas.

In case of emergency such as fire, officers can take control of door motion of the eGate by using the local or remote emergency options of the automatic door system. For example, an authorized officer on the control side can open the door to release a trapped passenger in case of fire.
The "Help" button of the eGate is an accessible facility for everyone especially those who need help such as the elderly, the visually impaired or other disadvantaged persons.
In case of power failure, the eGate doors will be free at the time the power supply stops. Whenever the power supply is restored to normal, initialization will be completed shortly.
In order to resume normal service as soon as possible, the eGate contains a built-in recovery image file in the local drive, which includes the operating system and device drivers.
In case of network disconnection, the eGate will jump to standalone mode. In other words, no data will be transmitted between the backend system and the eGate. Depending on user requirements, the system can also be configured to suspend the service during network failure. If business need requires clearance service under network failure, the operation log files during the period will be maintained and then sent to the backend system immediately after network recovery.
