Product Positioning and Core Application

The FKN-S series is a small type flameproof fusible wire wound resistor designed to combine resistance and circuit protection functions in a single component. Its wire wound construction is intended for electronic circuits where a power resistor is also required to provide a defined fusing function under abnormal circuit conditions.

The FKN-S is specifically suitable for circuit board protection. When an abnormal overcurrent condition reaches the specified fusing condition, the resistor can fuse and change the circuit state for protection purposes. Its noncombustible insulating coating is also designed to provide solvent resistance and high-temperature resistance.

As a 2WS fusible resistor, the FKN-S combines a wire wound resistor structure with a fusible function, making it suitable for circuit designs that require both power resistance and circuit protection in a small component.
