ERNiCu-7 Nickel Based 400 K500 Monel Inconel 625 718 Welding Wire
Product Introduction
Type | Standard | Standard | Manin chemcial composition % | Typical application |
Nickel welding wire | A5.14 ERNi-1 | SG-NiTi4 | Ni ≥ 93 Ti3 Al1 Cr-- Mo-- | ERNi-1 is used for GMAW, GTAW and ASAW welding of Nickel 200 and 201, joining these alloys to stainless and carbon steels, and other nickel and copper-nickel base metals. Also used for overlaying steel. |
Specific Applications
- Welding MONEL 400 alloy: ERNiCu-7 welding wire is mainly used for welding MONEL 400 alloy itself, as well as welding different materials between MONEL 400 alloy and steel. In the power industry, this applies to welding and repairing MONEL 400 alloy components in power generation equipment, such as pipelines, valves, etc.
- Surface welding: ERNiCu-7 welding wire can be used to weld the surface of steel using submerged arc welding method, usually requiring a buffer layer (such as 61 alloy) to be deposited by manual arc welding method first. This is used in the power industry to improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of steel components, such as boiler water-cooled walls, flues, etc.
Advantages and Characteristics
- Excellent corrosion resistance: ERNiCu-7 welding wire has excellent corrosion resistance and is very suitable for application in common corrosive environments in the petrochemical and marine industries. Nickel forms a protective oxide layer on the surface of the material, preventing corrosive elements from reaching the underlying substrate, while the addition of chromium further enhances corrosion resistance. This double-layer protection ensures long-term durability and reliability in harsh environments with severe corrosion.
- Good mechanical properties: The deposited metal of ERNiCu-7 welding wire has good mechanical properties, with tensile strength>530 MPa, yield strength>360 MPa, and elongation ≥ 34%. These properties ensure the strength and toughness of the weld, making it suitable for high-strength welding applications.
- High temperature stability: ERNiCu-7 welding wire has good stability in high temperature environments, with a melting range of 1325-1370 ° C, suitable for welding and surfacing in high temperature environments.
- Welding process performance: ERNiCu-7 welding wire has excellent welding process performance, beautiful weld formation, and is suitable for various welding methods such as tungsten inert gas welding (TIG), melting electrode gas welding (MIG), and submerged arc welding (SAW).
