Description

Low-E glass is a type of coated glass that has a high reflectivity for the wavelength range of 4.5μm - 25μm in the far infrared spectrum. It is an energy-saving glass that is coated with multiple layers of metals (such as silver and copper) or compounds (such as tin oxide) on the surface of the glass through vacuum magnetron sputtering or online high-temperature pyrolysis technology.It helps to reduce energy consumption and keeps the indoor environment warm in winter and cool in summer, making it an ideal choice for energy-efficient buildings.Its service life exceeds 15 years. Low-E glass includes Single Silver Low-E Glass, Double Silver Low-E Glass and Triple Silver Low-E Glass.

Principle: By applying low-emission coating (silver layer or compound film), over 80% of mid-to-long wave infrared rays are reflected. In summer, it prevents the outdoor high temperature from entering; in winter, it reduces the loss of indoor heat, thereby lowering the cost of air conditioning heating by over 30%.
