An SMT automatic solder paste printer is a critical piece of equipment on a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line. Its core function is to accurately print solder paste through a stencil onto the PCB pads. "Without camera vision" means that the alignment between the PCB and the stencil is achieved through mechanical alignment or profile-based positioning, rather than optical alignment via cameras.

• Simple Operation and Streamlined Structure: Compared to complex fully automatic vision printers, the operation interface and mechanical construction are much simpler, requiring lower skill levels from operators.
• Fast Printing Speed: Since complex visual recognition and alignment steps are eliminated, the single-print cycle time can be faster for boards with simple processes.
• Lower Cost: By omitting the expensive vision system (cameras, lighting, image processing boards, etc.), both the initial equipment purchase cost and ongoing maintenance expenses are significantly lower.
• Relatively Lower Precision: This is its most significant limitation. Mechanical positioning accuracy is far inferior to vision-based positioning, resulting in low printing alignment accuracy, making it inadequate for high-density, fine-pitch component printing.
• Fewer Process Control Parameters: The level of fine control over critical variables such as printing pressure, speed, and stencil separation is not as refined as on high-end fully automatic equipment, and the solder paste release (stripping) effect is generally poorer.

Based on its characteristics, printers without camera vision are primarily used in scenarios where high precision is not critical:

• PCB Printing with Standard Components: Suitable for PCBs with components above 0603 (imperial size) and component lead pitches greater than 1.27mm.
• Simple or Low-Density Products: Such as certain power supply boards, LED lighting boards, toys, small appliance control boards, and similar applications with fewer components, lower density, and looser precision requirements.
• Budget-Constrained Production Lines: Used as the primary printer in entry-level or low-cost SMT production lines.
• Auxiliary or Backup Equipment: In high-end production environments, it may be used for printing less demanding auxiliary boards, or kept as an emergency backup machine.
