Introduction
The concentrator is the data concentration unit of the intelligent meter reading system.
By establishing a reliable communication channel, the data information between the main control machine and the meter unit is processed/exchanged. Its transmission methods include: GPRS, telephone line, Ethernet, the main difference is its uplink communication method, and the downlink communication method is compatible with all collectors. Collectors include M-bus collectors, RS485 collectors, and wireless collectors. Smart meters include M-bus meters, RS485 energy meters, wireless remote meters, and various smart meters with the above remote communication interfaces.
In the meter reading system, the concentrator automatically reads back and stores the data of all meters it manages, and at the same time receives the control command of the management center and forwards it to the meter. The system has excellent compatibility and scalability, and can realize the management of one type of smart meter, and can also realize the comprehensive management of multiple types of smart meters such as water, electricity, gas, and heat.
