IEC 60598-1 Fluorescent Lamp Axial Force Tester for Mechanical Strength of Lamp Holder Test

Product Information:

Standard: IEC60598-1:2014 "Luminaries - Part 1: General requirements and tests" clause 4.4.4
IEC62560:2015 "Self-ballasted LED-lamps for General lighting services by voltage >50V - Safety specifications" clause 9.4


Specimen and Limitations: Lampholders for fluorescent lamps and self-rectified lamps.


Test Purpose: Used to test the mechanical strength of lampholders for fluorescent lamps and self-rectified lamps.

Test Principle: A motor-driven pressure plate applies a constant pressure to the center of the lamp holder. This forces the test lamp holder vertically along the axis of the fluorescent lamp until the force reaches a constant value for 1 minute, then releases the pressure.
