Deployed during the initial phases of well construction alongside the conductor string or surface casing, its primary function is to provide precise mechanical positioning and physical guidance for the subsequent entry of drill bits, casing strings, Blowout Preventer (BOP) stacks, and Subsea Christmas Trees (Xmas Trees).
