Product description:
The stainless steel traction relief cable glands with two metal saddle clamps and two metal screws, also known as pull-resistant metal cable glands, are robust waterproof connectors. Usually made in 304, 316, or 316L stainless steel material, they can secure electrical cables into enclosures (like control boxes) while preventing damage from pulling, bending, or vibration by absorbing mechanical stress, all while sealing the entry point against dust, water, and oil. They provide essential functions like earthing, insulation, and environmental sealing (IP/NEMA ratings) in harsh industrial settings, ensuring safety and maintaining equipment integrity.

Main features:
♦ Saddle clamp: a distinct U-shaped or two-part clamp that fastens around the cable, providing extra mechanical grip and strain relief, essentially "saddling" the cable for maximum security.
♦ Traction relief (strain relief, pull relief): the main purpose is to grip the cable firmly, preventing tension or pulling from damaging internal wires or disconnecting the cables.
♦ Sealing: creates a tight seal (IP68) to prevent dust, water, oil, and other contaminants from entering the enclosure.
♦ Harsh environments: ideal for building sites, portable equipment, machinery, and electrical motors where vibration, impact, or rough handling is common.
♦ Mechanical security: secures the cable to the equipment or panel, providing a robust mechanical connection.
