Product Description
The ZKS vacuum feeder operates by drawing air through a vacuum pump, creating a negative pressure condition at the suction nozzle and throughout the entire system. Powder particles are drawn into the nozzle along with ambient air, forming an air-material mixture that travels through the suction pipeline into the feeder hopper, where gas and solids are separated. The separated materials are then discharged into the receiving unit.
Material feeding and discharging are achieved through the continuous opening and closing of a pneumatic three-way valve, whose operation is regulated by the control system. The vacuum feeder is equipped with a compressed air backflushing mechanism. During each discharge cycle, compressed air pulses clean the filter, dislodging powder accumulated on its surface to maintain stable suction performance.
For models equipped with level control, automatic feeding is managed by a material level controller. The vacuum feeder stops charging when the material in the receiving hopper rises above a preset level, and restarts automatically when the level falls below a set point, thus completing automatic feeding for the receiving equipment.
