Marine salvage airbags are the system of choice where reliable, controllable buoyancy is required. They are particularly suited for installation buoyancy on pipeline float-out, beach pulls, and river crossings. Our marine salvage rubber airbags have also been used in applications such as vessel and platform draught reduction in limited water depths. And as salvage pontoons for temporary bridges and docks. The salvers can use marine rubber airbags to salvage the shipwreck, rescue the floating bridge, and dock construction.
Marine salvage airbags are enclosed cylindrical shape buoyancy units. Constructed from high tensile out rubber layer, multiplayer heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers, and an inner rubber layer vulcanized firmly. There are some lifting belts and shackles around the airbags. Safe valves, mounted to the ends of airbags, are ideal for releasing inner pressure automatically when marine salvage airbags are applied in deep water.
Marine salvage rubber airbags are cylindrical balloon bodies, with two conical heads and end mouth, fitted with air tightness swivel and air inlet kits at the end mouth. Polyester webbing lifting straps are around the whole marine rubber airbag body. The total lifting of these straps maintains a minimum 6:1 safety factor of its buoyancy. Can equip the auto pressure to relieve valves, which can open when inner pressure reaches rated pressure. It is more tough than PVC underwater air lift bags.
Advantages
High Buoyancy Capacity
Salvage rubber airbags create high buoyancy capacity with safer air pressure. The buoyancy is 1t~200t.
Worked for Deep Water
Marine salvage rubber airbags can be used for deepwater salvage lifting. Can install safety valves.
Resistant to Abrasion
Salvage rubber air bags have 6~12 plies reinforcement layers to withstand most abrasion and puncture.
Multipurpose Airbags
Salvage airbags can be used to provide buoyancy support for shipwrecks, pipeline laying, bridge support.

Marine salvage airbags are equipped with lifting belts and shackles. For the big size, we also install safety valves. When the inner pressure reaches the rated value, it can open automatically to release the insider air-pressure.

You can choose the required diameter and effective length to meet your projects.
Diameter (D): It’s from 0.8m to 2.0m.
Effective Length (EL): It’s from 6m to 25m.
Total Length (TL): It’s from 7m to 26m
The above specification only is our standard specification arrangement. Other specifications marine salvage airbags also can be supplied upon clients’ request. The biggest buoyancy capacity can reach 300ton.
