What is R-Lipoic Acid Powder?

R-Lipoic acid, also known as dextrorotatory lipoic acid, is a dextrorotatory sulfur-containing vitamin. It appears as a white or pale yellow, odorless powder or crystals with an optical rotation of +104° and is insoluble in water. It must be stored in a sealed, light-protected, low-temperature, and dry environment. This substance, as a vitamin, can also be added to functional foods.
