What is Curcuma Aromatica Extract?

The main active components of turmeric extract include: curcuminoids (such as curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and dimethoxycurcumin), volatile oils (mainly curcumene, sesquiterpene alcohols, camphor, and camphene), as well as polysaccharides and curcuminones.


1. Curcuminoids: The core active ingredient, possessing anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor, and choleretic effects;


2. Volatile oils: Containing curcumene (approximately 65%), sesquiterpene alcohols (approximately 22%), camphor, camphene, etc., possessing qi-regulating, antibacterial, and analgesic effects;


3. Polysaccharides: Such as glucomannan, possessing immunomodulatory and hepatoprotective activities;


4. Others: Including curcuminones, phenolic acids (such as ferulic acid and caffeic acid), and small amounts of fatty oils and starches, etc.


Application


1. Promotes blood circulation, relieves , and protects the cardiovascular system: Contains curcumin and other components that can inhibit platelet aggregation, improve microcirculation, and reduce blood viscosity.


2. Regulates Qi and relieves depression, and regulates the nervous system: Volatile oil components may regulate neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, or GABA, relieving mood depression, chest tightness, and insomnia caused by liver Qi stagnation.


3. Promotes bile secretion and reduces jaundice: Promotes bile secretion, relaxes the sphincter of Oddi, and lowers serum bilirubin and transaminase levels.


4. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant: Inhibits inflammatory pathways such as NF-κB and scavenges free radicals.
