Product Introduction

Road asphalt joint sealant is a core functional material specially used for sealing repairing cracks and joints in the field of road maintenance. It is mainly based on petroleum asphalt, and its performance is optimized by adding modifiers such as SBS, waste rubber powder, and polyurethane It is a key material for delaying the development of pavement diseases and extending the service of roads.

Product types

Classified into 5 categories by industry standards, namely high-temperature type general type, low-temperature type, cold type and severe cold type, which are adapted to different regions with minimum temperatures not lower than 0℃, -10℃ -20℃, -30℃ and -40℃.

Performance Features

Strong Adhesion: Closely adheres to seam walls of asphalt and concrete pavement, and will not debond or delaminate as the cracks deform. 2. Construction Process

1. Pre-treatment: Thoroughly remove loose soil and inside cracks/joints using a high-pressure air blower, ensuring no standing water or debris remains in the.

2. Material Preparation: For hot-melt products, put them into a dedicated joint furnace and heat uniformly until completely melted. For cold-pour products, fully stir evenly after unsealing.

3. Grouting: Grout uniformly along crack from bottom to top. The colloid should fully fill the space without gaps, with its surface slightly higher than reserved settlement space of the road surface. For wide cracks exceeding 15mm in width, add an appropriate amount of aggregate and gr in a mixed state.

4. Traffic Opening: Hot-melt products can be opened to traffic after cooling for 2-3. For cold-pour products, spread fine sand on the surface after pouring; they can be quickly opened to traffic after surface drying for30 minutes.
