Perfluoropropylene Vinyl E ther (PPVE)
1 Introduction
PPVE is a vital fluorinated comonomer, presented as a colorless and transparent liquid. It plays a crucial role in the synthesis of fluoroplastics, serving as a key component to modify and enhance the properties of various fluoropolymers. PPVE is extensively utilized as a comonomer to disrupt the crystallinity of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE)-based copolymers. This property makes it invaluable in the production of perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA), modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and other fluoropolymers.
2 Packaging Method
The product is securely packaged in steel drums/cylinders, configured as 250KG/200L. Each cylinder is equipped with a label and a quality certificate, clearly indicating the product grade and batch number for easy identification and traceability.
3 Notes for Attention
PPVE should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight, heat sources, and incompatible substances. During handling, it is essential to follow standard safety procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety goggles, and protective clothing. In the event of skin or eye contact, immediate rinsing with plenty of water and seeking medical attention is crucial.
