Our 8K mirror finish duplex 2205 sheets combine high strength, excellent cleanability, and superior corrosion resistance specifically designed for pharmaceutical bioreactor internals.
Challenge: Austenitic 316L bioreactors have lower strength, requiring thicker walls, and may suffer pitting from cleaning agents containing chlorides.
Solution: Duplex 2205 provides higher strength (reducing wall thickness) and mirror finish prevents biofilm formation. It also resists pitting from acidic sanitizers.

The 8K mirror finish (Ra ≤0.1µm) minimizes bacterial adhesion. Duplex microstructure provides high yield strength (≥450 MPa) for pressure cycles.
For CIP with >200 ppm chlorides, choose 2205. For high-pressure steam cycles, 2507 is stronger. Ensure ASME BPE surface roughness certification.
