The IC693MDL655 PLC is a 24 Volts DC positive/negative logic PLC manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is designed with 32 inputs.

This Series 90-30 module is an industrial module. This programmable logic controller comes with 4 isolated groups of 8 with each group having its own common. The positive and negative logic inputs can operate at up to 30 Volts. An isolation of 1500 Volts exists between field side and logic side with 250 Volts of between groups. The input current rating of the IC693MDL655 PLC is 7 milliamps.

The on-state voltage of the module ranges between 11.5 and 30 Volts DC and the off state ranges between 0 and 5 Volts DC. The internal power consumption rating of the controller is 195 milliamps with 5 Volts bus voltage on the backplane and 224 milliamps with 24 Volts bus voltage on the backplane.


The front side of the IC693MDL655 PLC module has both RS 232 and RS 485 ports along with LED indicators to show different status updates. The controller is CE certified and listed with the cULus standards. The operating temperature should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius for regular operation. The IC693MDL655 PLC uses 32 bits of input data. The current into an input point results in a logic 1 with the input status table. The module can be easily installed on a 5-slot or 10-slot baseplate in the PLC system.

For wiring and connections, the IC693MDL655 PLC uses pre-wired cables with proper connectors.The module is manufactured with an open enclosure and it is meant to be used inside the system cabinet only.
