Description

The PP series Two-stage Pusher Centrifuge is a type of perforated basket centrifuge renowned for its continuous and efficient operation. It is specifically designed to effectively separate mixtures.
To initiate the separation process, the mixture to be separated is continuously and evenly fed through the feeding pipe and distributor into the first stage basket. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the majority of the liquid component (mother-liquor) within the feed passes through the sieves into the liquor-collecting casing, where it is discharged from the machine.
The first stage basket rotates and reciprocates, propelling the formed product cake into the second stage basket. Within the second stage, the cake experiences increased centrifugal force, allowing for optimal moisture removal and ensuring that the desired humidity of the cake is achieved.
Following this, the cake is continuously discharged from the basket. If a high level of purity is required for the solid product, the centrifuge offers an effective washing capability. If necessary, the washing agent and the mother-liquor can be discharged separately.
