The main machine lift, with ambidextrous design, allows for precise positioning of the glassware. Digital displays of rotation speed and heating bath temperature allow optimal control of all distilling processes. New clamp mechanism simplifies changing of evaporation flasks. This package comes with a heating bath and one set of glassware (vertical).

One of the most celebrated attributes of rotary evaporation is its capacity for gentle processing. Many organic, biological, and pharmaceutical compounds are thermally labile, meaning they degrade, isomerize, or decompose when exposed to high temperatures. Traditional distillation or open-air evaporation often subjects these materials to damaging heat. The rotovap circumvents this by combining vacuum (to lower boiling points) with minimal, controlled heating. This synergy allows solvents to be removed quickly at temperatures far below their atmospheric boiling points, often at room temperature or slightly above. This gentle approach preserves the integrity and bioactivity of sensitive products like natural products, enzymes, or complex pharmaceutical intermediates.
