Biochemical Oxygen Demand BOD Analyzer BOD-K4
Applications:
Wastewater discharge, environmental monitoring, sewage treatment, third-party testing organizations, research institutions, and universities.
Working Principle:
Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) is defined as the amount of dissolved oxygen consumed by aerobic microorganisms in water. When a sample is placed in a incubator at 20°C for five days, the BOD value of the water sample is determined by measuring the amount of dissolved oxygen consumed during the incubation period.
Main Features:
- Uses the 5-day incubation method to simulate biodegradation of organic substances in the natural environment
- Employs a simple safe and reliable mercury-free differential pressure sensing method to measure BOD
- Provides accurate measurement results comparable to the chemical dilution method with clear readings
- Features easily interpretable biochemical reaction curves for simplified data analysis
- Requires convenient maintenance and ensures a user-friendly experience for laboratory settings
- Experimental process does not require constant supervision by laboratory personnel to save time
- Delivers intuitive readings and reliable performance through advanced pressure sensing technology
- Storage of BOD values and biochemical reaction curves of the last 6 samples analyzed
