The DT16T Standard TRIACs are high commutation performance silicon bidirectional thyristors designed for general-purpose AC switch control. These devices offer reliable operation without the need for a snubber circuit and can be controlled by phase angle or on/off triggering. They are suitable for applications including motor, fan, and pump control, solenoid drivers, LED dimming, and inrush current limiting circuits. The TRIACs feature a passivated die for enhanced reliability and uniformity, operate at temperatures up to 125C, and are manufactured using a "Green" molding compound compliant with UL 94V-0 flammability classification and RoHS II 2015/863/EU standards.
