Product Description
This assembly integrates a full 22Pin SATA device connector with a separate 7Pin SATA data plug and a 4Pin power header, allowing both signal and power to be routed from a controller board to a drive using one compact wire cable set. The flat red SATA cable carries high-speed electronic data, while twisted yellow, red and black power wires deliver stable DC output to the drive’s power terminals.
The device-side connector includes mounting ears for secure fixation to brackets or metal frames, helping to protect the pins against vibration in rack-mount server or industrial applications. The 4Pin female housing mates with standard low-pitch PCB connectors, making it easy to pull power from custom boards instead of a traditional PSU harness. Multiple options are available for wire gauge, cable length, connector pitch and labeling to support OEM customization for storage, networking, DVR and light automotive electronics.

Applications
Connecting SATA HDD / SSD or slim optical drives to embedded controller boards with 4Pin power headers
Internal storage wiring in compact PCs, workstations, NAS units and 1U/2U servers
DVR / NVR, data logger and industrial monitoring equipment requiring tidy SATA cable connector assemblies
Custom PCB backplanes where device power is generated on-board and fed via a dedicated 4Pin connector
Prototyping and test fixtures for electronic storage modules that need combined data and power harnesses
Precautions
Confirm the pin definition of the 4Pin power header and SATA connectors before installation; incorrect mapping of power and ground pins may damage the drive or PCB.
Ensure that the total current drawn by the device does not exceed the rating of the power wires and mating terminals.
Avoid tight bends or repeated twisting close to the molded housings to maintain reliable data and power transmission.
Keep the assembly away from sharp edges, hot components and moving fans; secure the cable with clips or ties for strain relief.
Variants with shielded data pairs, additional branches, different connector pitch or mixed power-only leads can be supplied for batch and project orders.
