General Information:
SXBP PD-free AC Series Resonant Test System is the optimized solution for on-site and factory AC withstand voltage testing of high-capacitance loads in substations, such as power cables, GIS, transformers, and generators (rated up to 500kV). Unlike conventional test transformers, it operates on the series resonance principle, where the system automatically tunes to the resonant frequency of the test loop. This method fundamentally solves the challenges of testing large capacitive loads by providing sufficient test capacity with a lightweight, portable system, while delivering a clean test waveform and built-in current limitation for unparalleled safety and accuracy.
