General Information:
SXBP Variable Frequency HV AC Resonant Test System provides an efficient and safe solution for AC withstand voltage testing of substation equipment (10kV-500kV). Its core series resonant technology delivers three key advantages:
1) High-Output, Low-Input – It requires only a fraction of the conventional test set's input power to generate the same high test voltage, drastically reducing the size, weight, and site power demand.
2) Superior Waveform – It acts as a natural filter, producing an exceptionally pure sinusoidal test voltage (low THD) that protects sensitive equipment from harmonic damage.
3) Inherent Safety – In the event of a breakdown, the resonant circuit inherently limits the fault current, preventing catastrophic damage to the test object.

  • Uncompromised Waveform Purity: A hallmark of the resonant principle, our system outputs a sine wave with Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) ≤ 1%. This protects sensitive equipment from harmonic stress and ensures test compliance with international standards.

  • High Efficiency & Portability: With a Quality Factor (Q) ≥ 30, the system draws minimal input power from a standard 220V/380V single-phase source to produce high kVA output. This translates directly into a lighter, more compact, and truly portable test set for field use.

  • Intrinsic Safety by Design: Beyond standard electrical protections, the resonant circuit itself limits the fault current to a safe value (≈1/Q of test current) in case of a breakdown. This inherent protection, combined with controlled arc quenching, safeguards both the test object and the system.

  • Robust & Reliable: Designed for demanding field conditions, the system supports continuous operation at full-rated load for over 60 minutes, ensuring completion of even the most extended test procedures.

If the capacity of your equipment is small and voltage is too low, can add more reactors to increase the capacity, and add more divider to increase the test voltage.
