(e.g., quartz sand, garnet, glass beads) at high velocity onto the workpiece surface at preset angles and
pressures. The impact and cutting action of the abrasive removes surface scale, rust, burrs, oil contamination,
or old coatings.
3. Sorting and Recycling Stage: After blasting, the abrasive and dislodged contaminants fall to the chamber
floor. They are separated via a cyclone separator or screen. Qualified abrasive is recycled, while contaminants
are collected for disposal.
