Step 1: Open the individual sterile blister package and take the heel lancet out.

Step 2: Remove the safety tab and make the infant lancet ready for sampling.

Step 3: Put the puncture slot (arrow part) against the opmital samping sites firmly.

Step 4: Press the button of the safety lancet and make the penetration done.

Step 5: Dispose the used heel lancet device in a sharps container.

Step (6): Wiped away the first drop of blood gently with a dry sterile gauze pad.

Step (7): Collect the blood samples with a capillary tube (or similar device), or allow the blood to drip on the specimen collection card directly.
