Brief

Humidity Indicator Card (HIC) is a convenient and cheap method to check the humidity. We can judge the humidity inside the packing from the color changed. Each card marked the warning when the color has changed, then the package should be replaces the new desiccant.

All HICs meet the requirements of RoHS, CTI and SGS test, MIL-I-8835A, JEDEG and GJB2494-95 standard.
The colour of indicator dot turns, meaning that RH in the package has or had been reached the RH value of that dot. So it is easy for us to estimate the validity of desiccant so as to change desiccant in time. At present, humidity indicator cards are more and more applied in packages of electronics and optical components, which are sensitive to humidity, effectively improving the quality of products.

This item is an inexpensive way to quantify relative humidity levels inside sealed packaging. They are available in many configurations and used in many applications, especially military and semiconductor.

• The humidity indicator dots will change from yellow to green as the relative humidity increases in the volume of air surrounding the indicator
• The humidity indicator dots are reversible, and the yellow dots will change back to pink when the volume of the air is dried

Storage

• Store humidity indicator cards in original sealed iron can. Immediately seal the can after every opening. The dot color shows blue before usage
• Store in dry, cool area and keep them out of direct sunlight and away from water
• Usually packed with small sachet silica gel desiccant,which prevent the HICs lost function before usage.
